A fantastic ride around the singletrail - 8 of us altogether. So good, 6 of us did it again in the afternoon! Tricky though, as the light was fading by the final descent.

Spoilt slightly by the discovery the following day that the service the shop did to my front hub was worse than a waste of time & money: The wheel was practically seized. When I took the hub apart, I found they'd dropped a ball bearing down inside the hub, so there was one missing from the race. Two of the remaining ball bearings were burnt brown. I've managed to free it off, rub down the high spots from the bearing cup, replaced the bals & repack with grease, but a new wheel it's got to be,
